Where Did I Go?

Wow, Not sure what to even write other than I am at an angry stage with this disease.  I am tired of feeling sick all of the time.  I miss being a good wife and mom.  I miss teaching my ESL kids and I really just miss the person that use to laugh and smile!   Where did I Go?  Will I ever come back?  This round of iv antibiotics is rough and the orals that go along with it are even rougher. I can't believe that this is my life, I keep thinking I am going to wake up from this horrible nightmare and be back in Reno doing what I do best.  Teaching, loving, smiling, believing

Worried

I am leaving for reno this weekend and will see my lld on wed. I know I will probably be putting my picc line back in and going back on antibiotics.  I have had a 3 week break after a really scary seizure a few weeks ago after an iv.  I'm scared to be on so many antibiotics again, but I'm scared to not be killing these bugs.  Wish I knew what really works!

Sept. 10th 2011

I have been off all antibiotics for 2 weeks now.  I have felt ok until wed. I went on a long walk and have not been able to recover. My entire body is so tight and I'm burning from head to toe.  I'm scared to death what Dr. H is going to say when I have my appt. in 2 weeks. My primary doc. here in my hometown in ND made the decision to take out the PICC line and stop the meds w/o consulting Dr. H.  I honestly dont know what I was thinking doing that. I think the pain had taken over and I just wanted the pain to stop. Unfortunatly that pain has not stopped and I probably just made matters worse.  I pray there is light at the end of this tunnel I so desperately want my life back!

Sept, 3rd 2011

I was diagnosed with Chronic Lyme disease in January 2011.  I'm pretty sure I have had Lyme for the past 10 years but it was misdiagnosed as Fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue.  I'm starting this blog to hopefully get more information from other sufferers of this disease.  Together maybe we can make a difference!:)
